No Sound
They see soft eyes above a soft smile.
They see a quiet thin body holding a quiet thin person.
They see innocence
And they see obedience.
Some see a smile,
While some see a frown.
They perceive no sound
And they look no deeper than the surface.
Because they think they see all
And they think they know all
But what,
I wonder,
Has made them so sure?
