No Pain Is Wasted

No Pain Is Wasted

My spirit was beckoned.

A savior called to me

his sweet voice said, "listen"

and I held my breath, hanging on his coming words.

He came to me.

He said I could be reconciled

That the pain and shame of yesterday no longer weighed me down.

Oh, what a love on found.

When others said I would never be enough,

His love told a new story.

He mended my brokeness with unfailing grace.

He walked with me

A child of rath, raised to walk in the newness of life.

My heart has walked with him, and his with me.

By the sweet grace of my Jesus

Finally I am Free.
