New Places
How strange
to be in a place where your name is never spoken
Where everyone stares
Where you are a foreign object
A place with no comfort
A place with only uncertainty
Yet, how beautiful
A panoramic view of a fresh landscape, virgin to your eyes
A place of endless exploration
With an infinite pool of new faces
and new stories waiting to be heard
A place with potential
The potential to open your mind to a life you never imagined
Until eventually,
The unknown is not so scary anymore
This place no longer feels so strange
But a little more like home
