I can feel it inside me 

like a fire burning from within

the stresses of life burning a hole in my core

the bills that need to be paid

the friends that are fading away

the job that i despise but need

the expectations set forth for me

too high to reach

everything is too much

the tears begin to fall

and my breathing turns shallow as i fall to the floor

its in this moment i begin to realize

i am no longer a child

i am a full grown adult
