Never Let Go

I'd never thought you would leave me.

And when you did I was needy.

I thought who would teach me, how to be me?

I'd cry myself to sleep.

Drowning in a sea of feelings that was too deep.

I almost wished we didn't meet.

You are not gone yet.

But you abandoned me.

You said you'd never let you go.

But you decieved me

What kind of grandmother are you?

How would it be if I didn't like you too?

You said you never let go

But you didn't need me.

I just want you here

To teach me, to love me , and to be a dear

So you can say you never let go

And you were always there
