The Need

What do

pitbulls,

lions,

and humans

all have in common?

Our ability to

kill.

Pitbulls kill when we,

humans,

force them to.

Sweet animals labeled as

dangerous brutes,

because of us.

Lions kill out of

intinct,

survival,

need.

They kill to live until we,

humans,

cage their wild manes

and wild hearts.

Then, that instinct is

thrown to the wind.

But what is

the human's excuse?

We kill for

pleasure,

anger,

hate,

and need.

But our

need

is different

than that of a lion's or a pitbull's.

Both animals kill because they

need

to survive.

Us?

We kill because the

need

to defeat the competition,

enemy, or our own evils

is too great to destroy

any other way.

We contol everything else

in this world, when really,

we

need

to control

ourselves.
