Native Americans and Europeans

You gave us water, land and food
In return we took away your land, culture, religion and language.
While you were willing to let us live the way we always had
We forced you to live and dress like Europeans, speak English and be Christians.
We would not have been able to make a home here without your help
In return you lost yours and so much more.
Imagine how much futher we would be as a society if we would have just worked together?
