Nataliegh

You gave me the strength,

You gave me the will,

You gave me the world-

And I gave myself the pills.

Believe me I’m sorry,

Believe me I have regret.

Believe me I thought I was stronger,

And I am in your debt.

I had given you help when you needed it-

I had taken your help as well,

I had taken it too late.

And I now have lessons to tell.

I love you for never giving up on me.

I love you for the compassion you show,

I love you for taking me at my worst.

And I see from here I have the chance to grow.

Thank you for teaching me patience,

Thank you for teaching me love,

Thank you for teaching me recovery,

And thank you for saving me so that I may evolve.
