My World

Welcome to my world

Where mermaids roam free

And fairies and elves and dragons flock to me.

Where the wind tells me stories

And the mountains sing songs.

And the rivers and the waterfalls

Are as thunderous as gong.

My world is Beautiful

And I am loved by all

That's all I've ever wanted

A world where I will never fall

I hold the powers of the Moon and Sun

In my world they are joined as one.

Yet, I am not as free or powerful as I seem

For the Phantom captures me in my dream.

The songs he makes me sing

Excite my soul.

However he has a far more terrible goal.

Though love may never die

Love can still lie

So I gave all of mine to someone

I can never possess

Yet, I'm shaken to the bone

By a single caress.

I'm guided by moonlight to my destiny

But, faulter when the one who holds my soul

Calls to me.

I am a mixture of dark and light.

Listen though, if my soul is forgiven

I may gain new sight

For I don't want the demon's fate

I can cast away the hand of sorrow

And the hand of hate

And grasp the hand that changes me

before it's too late.
