My Words See Me
My words see me now and again.
I could be lying down to sleep,
And a phrase will tip toe
On to my tounge. It
Will stay there,
And ask me to immortalize it,
But it is risky:
I might get caught.
If possible, I lay it down,
But if not,
It leaves through the sliding door at
The back of my skull.
I feel responsible.
i must let the words in.
If I wake up my parents,
Something then insdie me weeps
Over night coffee and ink.
Something insdie watches the stars,
And waits for the next visitor.
