My Wishlist

I don't want diamonds, and I don't want the world.

I just want you to hold me close and tell me I'm your girl.

Don't buy me a dozen roses or rings with big rocks.

Go to the dollar store and buy me some colored socks.

Don't take me to a fancy dinner where the drinks cost 5 bucks.

Get some snacks and we'll go back home and watch a movie that sucks.

Just give me your time and lone, becasue that's all I want, my dear.

Make me smile when I'm sad, and whem I'm scared help me fight my fears.

Let's save our money for something cool like an indoor trampoline.

Or let's clear a room and fill it up with jellybeans.

For Christmas I don't want earrings or a bunch of diamond jewelry,

I just want a fire going and you cuddling with me.

For New Years, I wanna share a kiss at midnight in our home,

Not out in public, crowded in the cold.

For my birthday, you can spoil me, but not too much, just little things.

Even though I want a lot, I wanna make you my everything.
