To my teacher, a great friend

Dear Mr. Lorbeer,

I wish I had more time. I thought that we would.

But you're gone now, so I guess you should leave my mind.

I mean, you were "only a teacher". Not like that could matter.

Must you continue to stay in my thoughts? I still remember the things you taught.

You promised you'd be there to see me graduate,

But God has decided that you've ought to join him.

In his plan we should trust.

Goodbye my good friend. Enjoy your rest in Heaven.

Your student, your friend,

Jenny
