Poverty is that thing that really makes me tick,

Poverty is that entity that can persuade even me, to doubt me,

At times I feel the arms of my community wrapping around me,

While the entire world is rapping behind me,

So who do I trust, when I see no one on earth even worthy of my trust,

Politicians will tell me to shoot for he moon,

But always remember rock bottom is your only Platform,

I am a dreamer, but at times I wonder, how can my dreams become reality when life itself, hosts a horrible reality

So, I have come to the conclusion that if I want to see positive change in my community,

 Therefore, I have to become that change I want to see!
