To see the world viewed from a mountaintop
Creates a pow’rful moment for us all.
The oceans and the seas cause time to stop
And we are even ready now to fall.

The treetops bend so gently in the wind,
The sunrise is so splendid to the east.
As I see this I know that I will find
I’m not so great; instead I am the least.

It is a place of peace and quiet here;
It’s where I go to be alone with Him.
In my own mind it is so close, so near
That I can go there even on a whim.

With my whole heart and soul I do declare:
In all the world there’s nothing to compare.
