Dear Mom & Dad,

You have been there from the start. Through the good times and the bad, you have been by my side, no matter the challenges I faced. Your lessons have guided me in life, and your support has given me the strength to reach for my goals. Without both of you, I would never have learned to better myself; to be a good student and daughter. A simple thank you for all your sacrifices seems underwhelming, but I want you to at least know that without you, I would not be in the place I am today. I wish that there was a way a child could repay their parents for all their dedication and hard work, but the only thing that comes close is for them to make their family proud by thriving in their future. I make this promise to you: No matter the struggle, I will always push to be the greatest person I can be. I will strive to achieve my goals so that all you have given me will not be in vain. I graduate now from High School, and soon, I will be heading off into a new chapter of my life. But I would be a fool to forget all of your teachings. No matter where I go, you will be in my mind. You are the angels that look over my shoulder, and I know that you want all the best for me. I love you with all my heart, no matter what you might think, and just as you want the best for me, I want the best for you guys. I will work hard on whatever life has planned for me, and it will all be dedicated to you. And though it doesn’t do you justice, I want to thank you nonetheless. You are both truly superheroes without capes.
