My Little Bird

And you've been missing from my life
Nothing good was ever mine
There is just nowhere to hide
I always come under the light
Don't know how to go and fight
I lost everything before I even had it

Too much to hold onto and fear
But if I let go, I'll lose all I have here
No one to guide me through my fear
Your absence still makes me feel
Well they say life's always unfair
For dreamers like me, so misunderstood

Oh that little bird, my little hope
Blinded by what's so clearly wrong
They tell me it's wrong, scream it in my ears
But I'm still living in dreams that may not become real
So they tell me not to dream either
Or even feel
Oh my little bird
Don't fall.
