You can say I am weak,
You can be disappointed,
But in the end this is what’s left of me.
I have fallen and I cannot get up,
It is like trying to climb a broken ladder.
I know the blame is not only on you,
But your silence only makes me sadder.
The fights that came with screaming,
A slam of the door lets us know you’re leaving!
You taught me a lot with every word that was not said,
The broken promises and questions that filled my head.
Everything you said dad came out to be a lie,
So now I must leave you with my last goodbye.
