My King

Tue, 09/25/2018 - 12:06 -- Tiralis

There's a chance in the night,

in the darkest, blackest night,

in the night that surpasses

dark and filmy midnight glasses-

there's a chance that dawn may bring

a beautiful, charming, enchanted King-

who rises above temptations bright

even in the deepest night-

who stands tall and firm and strong

every minute through days gone long.

My King, my mentor, my husband of faith.

My joy it is to live for thee,

to serve for thee,

to die for thee.

My life inspired,

my love, my heart,

I never shall

from thee depart.
