Gramps I love you

Even though sometimes want to sue.

You make me very happy

Even when I feel sappy.

You'd support me

Even if I want to go to sea.

You're very very wise

You make my life.

You always seem to joke around

As we parade through town.

You are the PB to myJ,

Th banana to my split,

The cocoa to my Coco Puff,

The cherry to my pie,

The swiss to my cheese,

The ketchup to my fries.

How do I ever survive without?

But I know you love me too.

You would be a sweet

So I could have you as a treat.

You'd be a banana with much power

And you'd be a lemon which is really sour.

Someday you'll pass away

But for now I hope you'll stay.

When I say, "Roses are red, Violets are blue..."

You'll say 'I love you and so does my shoe'.

You're really mellow and cool

So we go swimming in a pool.

You're pobaby thinking this poem's awesome

But most people would play possum.

Every time I say "two plus two equals..."

You say it equals a sequel.

Every time I asked, "What's you're favorite sport?"

You'd say, "The spork."

Even though you act stupid

I'm hit by cupid.

So even though you're getting old

I will never feel sold.

I'll say, "I love you Grandpa"

And you'll say, "I love you too."

I'm number one

So you must be number two.

Right now you're probably thinking this poem's long

But so would be a song.

You're the carrot to my top

And so I always pop.

You drive me to my Coco Puffs

You're the ear to my ear buds.

There are points in my life

That give me much strife.

Singing in the rain

Or screaming in pain

You'll always seem to be there.

Traveling to a game

Or having a lion to tame

You might not be there.

Who would of thought

That I could have taught

Someone like you.

Just remember that I love you

Even though I know you love me too.

A far off place

With sweets to taste

Seems so alarming

Knights on horses

Going through courses

With a prince that's really charming.

Unicorns, rainbows, and a field of flowers

That might give you some magic powers

Will send you into the world of fairies.

Giants, golden geese, gardens

Will send you to give pardons

For accidently eating their berries.

In kingdoms where animals talk

And everyone looks for a magical sock

There is always a place in my heart for you.
