My Diabetic poem

Location

You say I can't, but I know I can.

Despite the reasons on my left hand.

Fighting this monster inside of me.

In hopes that one day I might be free.

Lows and highs you can't be sure.

Constantly wishing for a cure.

Making sure your pump sites on.

Bolus, basal, glucagon.

Doctors visits every three months.

Finding good places to put your pump.

Self- confidence is always low.

Trying not to let anyone know.

Monitoring numbers day and night.

Putting up a constant fight.

Always working towards a cure.

Help us end this fight for sure!
