You are kind, and smart, and valuable

You are attractive 

And I am so lucky to have you.

 

You are more than what is in your head

And when you feel like you are not enough,

Know this:

You are so much more. 

 

You are a fighter

And you are brave. 

You have gone through so much

And I know that you can do anything

You put your mind to. 

 

I know that sometimes it feels like nothing is right

And you have nothing to offer, but

THIS. IS. NOT. TRUE. 

Even if you don't like anything about yourself,

I do. 

 

I wish that I could tell you this

Look you in the eyes

Because I want to make sure you understand.

 

This is a love poem. 

A love poem to you and to all your traits that I admire.
