Trying not to fail at life miserably. I don't want to become another statistic

Education:

I have been taught to ignore the things around me, just so I can have a chance at moving ahead in life.

I pretend I am blind, so that maybe the consequences won't hit me as hard.

I have graduated from the school of Delusion and attended the college of Insanity and Regret

Experience:

I have gone through horrors, and have seen things, but I'm still here.

I watch those around me change and move on, but I'm still here.
