Mother's Love

Sun, 04/10/2016 - 00:01 -- mhatch

They say there’s no such thing as magic
yet you’re able to turn bread and butter into a meal
They say super heroes don’t exist but I beg to differ
because you’re the real deal
They say that parents shouldn’t be their child’s friend
but you have shown me what a true friend is indeed
always here to support, encourage, and even intercede
Times I didn’t think that I would make it
you were right there by my side
When I didn’t have anyone to call on
in you I could confide
It take a strong women to handle work, life
and Marnisha at the same time
But you put on your superwoman cape
and didn’t ever complain or whine

For these reasons I need you in my life

to continue to show me how to be the best

mother and wife

Thank you for being an example

and showing me how a woman should be
Thank you ma
because without you
there would be no me
