Mother Nature

The way that the sun sets and the sky looks as if it’s on fire,

Sitting on the edge looking down endless rows of trees and wanting to be even higher,

Watching drops of rain trickle down the window and smelling the refreshing scent,

Seeing snow spanned across an old field, satisfyingly, without a single dent,

Hearing the roaring rush of sound from a waterfall, it’s liquid the prettiest shade of blue,

Gazing up at the starlit sky in awe at the galaxies and spherical face of the moon,

Observing a newborn animal with its mother walking for the first time,

Or seeing a beautiful bald eagle dive from its perch and launch into flight,

Perhaps something more thrilling, like standing in the middle of a storm’s wild winds,

Feeling your hair whip your face, and the rain slightly pelting your skin,

Nature is everywhere, no one can avoid it,

So let’s go outside and enjoy it,
