Moment

Fri, 09/04/2015 - 16:25 -- k8carr
There's a moment in time when you don't think anyone will really care

Maybe they'll listen but they can't help,
Or that's just one more thing for them to do.

When you want to do it by yourself,
You want to prove yourself to the world,
Your independence.

And more and more happens
And there is this terrible sense
That you need to take care of them
And not let them care for you.

There is this awful weight
And you drag it along,
Because it seems to be the only thing left,
The only burden for you to cling to.

No more chances to turn around to a better moment.
