Mom

Now that your gone it gets harder to sleep. I can't even think straight, so all l do is weep. I think of your smile, I think of your hair, and I think of all the memories we share. People tell me your in a better place, with angels around you calling your name. Mom, I have your watch and everytime it ticks I can almost feel your heartbeat with each and every click. My dearest mother, your life was getting turned around, and people told me you wanted to make me proud. But mom there's one thing you must understand, l was very proud to call you my friend. I know you watch over me day after day but, life has gotten harder since you went away.
