Mistakes i would change - for the what would you change poetry scholarship slam

Mistakes ,                                                                      

Are like giant lakes,

Holes withIn yourself,                                            

Spears bursting through your weary skin,

That is wearing down thin,

Changes we all we wish could make,

Well if I could I would change,

The way I looked at him,

The way I let him in

How much trust I did put forth,

All the love that I ever served to he,

To get out of the pool of forgiveness,

To lean that some do not deserved such greatness,

Learn to breathe among the sea of crazy,

Take back all the yelling and the screaming,

Fore it was seeming; to much,

All the times our hearts did touch,

I would let somethings pass by,

Instead of all the fights that would make you lie,

Its funny how what used to be love turned into war,

I would change all that

So when I would see you next,

We would just be strangers nothing hidden inside the text.
