Money, makeup, or mental ability,

these are the criteria for how we are viewed by society.

To live my life only by how others view me is to drown my heart in


Rejection, or at least the fear of it,

makes humans the slaves of societies shallow games.

Alienation is the usual result of

defying the conventions of society.

Grief, paradoxically,

is often the result of adhering to closely to societies norms.

Either way,

the only sight lying beyond the filter is me.

The scholarship topic, no filter, basically begs for me to speak in terms that are opposed to how society views ones self. The stupid software still says that my scholarship is 19.9 percent like Nietzche. It needs an upgrade or a patch.
