Mine

As sure as there is

Air in my lungs
I know my heart is whole again.
As sure as the
Motions of the tides
Are the movements
Of unsure excitement
As certain as the hope
Of a first kiss on a first date
There is hope I have for you.

And you are a mystery
A beautiful mystery
That my heart is now stuck to
That I now invest in
Because while you are a mystery
You are a trusted one
With loving glances
And warm, invisible embraces
With soft lips to cheek
And warm hands to skin

And one thing is certain
This new bread moment
Is not just mine
But an eternity of harm's
Definite new breath
To see a new day
To push in instead of out
To cling rather than fall
To hope instead of cry
And one thing is certain

You are you but also mine.
