A Mind Is a Beautiful Thing to Waste
Location
A mind is a beautiful thing to waste
With this reality I'm often faced
Seconds tick by at an alarming rate
Reminding me of my mind's fate
TV, noise, dead end job
All seem to make my head throb
My mind is escaping slowly everyday
Society says to let it happen and I can't seem to disobey
The slow drone of life takes hold
And all I can do is what I'm told
Finally an original thought seems less strange...
Maybe it's time for a change
