Midwest Winters

Midwest winters are always fun.
I’m just kidding, I want the sun!

All ready to start my car so I won’t freeze,
And then I realize I lost the keys.

What a great way to start my morning!
And then it gets worse, there’s a blizzard warning!

“Really, mom, do I have to go to school?”
“Yes, you do. Don’t be a fool!”

“Why can’t it be warm outside?” I say.
I wish it was warm every day!

I want sunlight. That would be nice!
I just want to get rid of this ice!

If there was one thing I would change about here,
Everyday it would be warm, sunny, and clear!
