Midnight
Midnight
When galaxies hang above me
Like a mobile over a child's bed
For me to stare
While dark matter dives past
Pirouetting planets
Meteors shatter, showering the sky
Radio waves wobble
Across the universe
Illuminating violet nebulas
Peaking in and out of sight
Quantum particles beating like a nervous heart
We lie still
Captivated by celestial diamonds
Dazzling the sky
Twinkling like they are meant for decoration
This poem is about:
Our world
