Medusa’s Rules

The rules of Medusa

  1. Always leave the house with your phone at full charge
  2. A fistful of keys is the easiest of weapons
  3. Never go to a party or anywhere alone without telling anyone
  4. When walking alone always cross the street when Men are near
  5. Never walk alone at night
  6. If being attacked yell Fire
  7. If being raped tell them you have HIV
  8. Sit directly behind the Uber driver, always have an emergency contact ready
  9. Never leave your drink alone, if suspicious get rid of it
  10. Never use your full name on your mail box only use Initials
  11. Never wear headphones while jogging
  12. Always be aware of your surroundings
  13. If you see another women or anyone in danger, tell them

All girls are taught the rules,

and as we scream for help,

We’re blamed for not using them.
