Mean Girls

Looking in the mirror
Don't like what I see
Can't I look like them?
Don't like being me

Why can't I be those other girls

With their pretty faces,

 those skinny wrists

and hip-hugging dresses

Although they may look pretty

They are anything but

for what is really deep inside

is soil, dirt, and mud.
