Me, Myself, and I

As I stumbled along my path

I realized I stumbled across myself.

As as I walked and walked,

I realized how every tree, every branch seemed more like me.

As I kept on walking,

i noticed that the skin of the tree resembled the scars along my arms.

And as I kept stumbling,

I realized that nature told my story better than I could ever imagine.

the trees told the story of my body

the flowers told the story of my friends.

The wind told the story of those people that came and left,

while the hikers told the story of those who hurt me, leaving a mark, and not thinking twice about it.

But as nature told my story, I stood there, waiting to see, when humanity would be restored

and see that everyone, isn't as dull as they make nature seem.
