I love their smiles

I love their miles

Imprinted on their faces

I love their eyes

But not mine

I love the color of the sky

A little boy in suit and tie

I love the old photos on the shelf

But not myself

She adjusts her perfect hair

The girl that catches every guy's stare

She's the girl everyone wants to be

But she is not me

My eyes don't shine like the color of the sky

The boys don't stare and wish they were mine

The girl in the photos is not who I used to be

Yes, me.
