Maybe, just maybe

Maybe, just maybe

You'll see what I see

The world in its beauty

Resplendent and Dazzling

Something to be cherished

A wonder to be shared

Maybe, just maybe

You'll recognize love

In all its forms

From children to adults

Finding in another

A home of happiness

Maybe, just maybe

You'll hear the cries

Feel the pain as your own

The sorrow and hurt

Understand the compassion

To discover the music in a smile

Maybe, just maybe

You'll take my hand

Call me brother, sister

See beyond the layers

Beyond the hate and clouds

Find we're one and the same

Until then I'll wait

For I know

And maybe, just maybe

You'll stand with me too.
