The Massacre

We are like humans

Taking a stand

Against the lumberjacks

Who are taking our land.

They're taking our brothers,

Our sisters, our mothers.

They are killing us all,

From big to small.

They don't have a heart for our kind.

We are wood for their fires

So, they don't mind

If we're dancing on thin wires.

Berries are eyes

That help us see

But we don't understand why

They'd kill an innocent tree.
