Can you see through my eyes?

The pain, the hurt, all around.

Lost people seraching for a purpose that can't be found.

Their shallow laughter creates a mask,

Over the questions they're too afraid to ask.

Can you see through me eyes?

Truth and answers shouting out,

Seeping through their armor of doubt.

A longing to destroy the veil over their eyes,

Revealing their true potential behind their disguise.

Can you see through me eyes?

Fierce anger and gory violence,

Agonizing screams preventing silence.

An eternal chill from their impending doom,

And a hope that's left on a shelf in their room.

Can you see through my eyes?

True freedom and abounding grace,

Conquering a past they can fully erase.

Death provided life and the free gift,

Eternal life, security, and a cross to fill the rift.

Look through my eyes.
