Magic

I'm a writer and a reader,

A bookroom and a dreamer

I have magic in my heart and mind

And my imagination often leaves me blind

To the world outside my head

And often leaves me hanging by a thread

With every cliffhanger and mystery

And often make me wish I can rewrite history

So that magic really exists

And is not just another fake thing on my favorites list

I wish that magic was inside me

Fighting to be free

Magic in a book is okay

I just wish I had a say

On if magic could be real

I would even make an irreversible deal

To just have magic for a single day

I just wish my life will go my way

So that I can have magic and do impossible things

I can only imagine what having magic will bring

How it would change my world and perspective

And wouldn't make my decisions so subjective

I just wish that for one time only

To have magic so my life wouldn't be so lonely

That is all I ask for

If only it will happen and I will ask for nothing more
