The Lying. The Crying. The Prying.

Location

Born to be set apart from the world

She grew up rejected by every girl

Disgusted with herself she struggled to breathe

Tempting lies tricked her mind into his deceit

The Lying. The Crying. The Prying.

Mirrors mock and love to taunt.

One instant glance and her heart felt safe

They start to notice the smile on her face

People start to talk and everything is done

Now every glance rips a piece of her one by one

The Lying. The Crying. The Prying.

Mirrors mock and love to taunt.

The sun blinded her and she cannot see

That he was right there; warm and welcoming

Her priorities are off putting them first

Her eyes lift up to the sky and begin to curse:

“I must not be good enough for you right?

That’s why you won’t change my life”

The Lying. The Crying. The Prying.

Mirrors mock and love to taunt.

As months flew by, curiosity held her

Leading her to her knees begging for her Savior

Through the silence, his voice sounded in her thoughts

That voice is the very reason she fought

The Lying. The Crying. The Prying.

Mirrors mock and love to taunt.
