In Loving Memory of my Father

Location

Pakistan

Ah... You seem to be far away from me,
Enjoying in the Heavens with joy and glee.
Yet I recall the continual soft glow upon your smiling face,
And the aroma of your touch, And enchanted embrace.

When I am exhausted from the impediments I've borne,
When the path is ambiguous and I feel so forlorn,
Then I feel like your adoring aegis is constantly near,
As your guidance always has carved my aisle clear.

When I glimpse no one who seems to care,
Or when my agony seems too heavy to bear,
I recall how you always stood by my side,
And would wipe away the reasons why I cried.

When I remember the things you used to say,
When I miss you and know that you're so far away,
Then I reckon the part of you, lives on through me,
And one day I'll join you, Enjoying the Heavens with joy and glee.
