Loved You.

Loved You.

Loved you innocently, purely, selflessly.

Loved you foolishly, blindly, stupidly.

Loved you entirely, wholeheartedly, instinctively.

Loved you madly, sweetly, gently.

Loved you secretly, silently, undyingly.

Loved you proudly, loudly, happily.

Loved you recklessly, shamelessly, helplessly.

In so many ways, for so many days,

I felt such a love that would not fade away.

Yet my love, though so strong, would not be repaid.

You would not ever love me as I loved you.

Not in all my many ways…

No, you would never quite feel the same...
