Love: The Worst & Best Feeling

Location

I lay my head gently on my pillow
I hear the soft sound of rain near the door
As I hear a whipping, weeping willow
Only we could be together forevermore
I reminisce on days that have gone past
Thinking about all of love’s loss and pain
And wishing that the love we had could last
But, we can have the love we once attained
If we can just remember the good times
And continue our love where we left off
Just like new lovers, we’ll be back in our prime
Our love is something I could never doff
I hope my love you have not yet replaced
With some new girl with a prettier face
