Love, a There Lack Of

The slamming of doors and tearing of hearts,

Where violence mean resolution by sight.

And drama seems more intriguing than arts;

Words will go flying fast and with all might.

Homes stand divided, families crumble,

They say the sparks from beginning now fade.

The ride of excitement starts to stumble,

And the light just fizzled down to a fade.

Where words seem to fail and actions speak most,

The darkened aftermath will drown one's soul.

This destruction and longing from coast to coast

Will divert from nature’s ultimate goal.

The struggle and damage to love that’s done

Leaves all the lack of, and none to be won.
