love a little

~love a little.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Saving the world. Saving the world isn't about sending food to some foreign country or donating a dollar around the holiday season. Our problem isn't something we can lock up in jail. It isn't one we can fix with some tape. Nope, Superman can't help us now. That is because our problem is not a physical entity. It hides. It waits. It hunts. The problem is hate. Hate is born from abuse, jealousy, lies, and so many more things we see everyday. Hate is in us. It suffocates the love and festers. It consumes the weak, who are later misconceived as the bad, the enemy. But if the weak are the enemy, then we all are. We have all had a moment of weakness in our lives. A moment of venerability. We have all done things we regret and said things we should not have. Sometimes to those we love, and sometimes to those we don't even know. When this happens, hate is winning. When this happens, you are being weak.We must fight it. We must be strong! Stand up brothers and sisters! Strangers and friends! Fight for what's right! Be strong! Love one another. That is the solution our problems, love. Loving, caring, generous people are the ones we need. They are the ones that matter. They are the light that illuminates the darkest of hearts. They keep us warm and guide through the hurt. Wish to save the world? Love a little.                                    ~savannah jade fredmonsky
