Love-ily Distraught

Wed, 10/31/2012 - 00:38 -- KP

I'm runnin' around, without my feet on the ground
I'm jumpin and I'm fallin', watchin' from the clouds
Way away from the world that you see
Love-ily distraught, I have dreams of gold keys

I wonder where the stars went, they left from my eyes.
The moon was on my tongue, the gold drippin' from my life
The skies seemed so much brighter when you charged them with your light
Don't give in sunshine, you're the goddess of fight

Call upon the dancer, or the poet, or the thief
Waltz a new poem, let the crook steal your grief
What you saw was skewed, thoughts of silver and mold
You thought that only colors, could be painted as bold

Spin around, you chaotic chameleon, change your colors once and for all
Put on your grandest gown and go stag to the ball
You're the Vincent Van Gogh of your era and time
To not share your art is the craziest crime

Find your reflection up in the sky
You see the north star? That's the glimmer from your eye
