Love Everlasting

The way her hair blew in the wind

The way her smile lighted up the sky

I would feel warm inside

And I didn't think this love would ever die

Sometimes when I think of the fun stuff we use to do I'd smile inside

Dancing in the rain

Playing in the snow

It seemed then, that our love was sure to grow

We were toxic together

Whatever one did, so did the other

My, how times have changed

I see her everyday and I act as if I do not know her name

Remeber those times we'd go for long walks at night

When I had her beside me I never caught a fright

I knew that she would be there

If even on my lonliest of nights

But the time we shared laughing and smiling

Deep inside the thought of losing her had my heart drowning

But i guess that time that we did share had to go

And if I get the chance to speak to her again

I'd tell her

I'm sorry I let her go

You have me gasping

For your love everlasting

This was a time in my life when I lost someone dear to me.  They past away.  I wanted to talk about the times I spent with her up until the time she past.
