Love Don't Live Here Anymore

We've created our own comfort zone.

Running to each other when we're afraid of ourselves.

Becoming so attached, that we dream about the other leaving,

and panic.

Love isn't suffocating, is it?

'Cause if it isn't, love don't live here anymore.

How can we look at each other and long for the skin

But not long for the soul?

Running to pleasure, and running from pain.

Love don't live here anymore.

Countless words are exchanged, but neither of us are really listening.

"Just kiss me."

"Just hold me."

"Just sleep with me."

That's the only response we have.

We keep each other because we're afraid of seeing each other with somebody else.

Going on four years.

Four years of hiding.

Hiding each other from the world, in case there's someone better.

Hiding because we're the only Love we've ever known.

But that's the thing...

Love don't live here anymore.
