I never thought that I'd ever write one these things..a poem about love.
Never have I ever thought about the day when you would consume my thoughts.
When you hold me I feel safe, and I feel that my heart is indestructable.
You are my bestfriend.
I can't imagine a life, my life, without you.
My beauty is a treasure to you.
The scars on my body are gone, no more red.
I see my skin heal.
Your're the reason why my smile is genuine.
I wasn't supposed to feel alive again.
And I wasn't supposed to have the option to be loved unconditionally.
You have no reason to love me although you do.
I push you further away and yet you ricochet right back into my world.
This effect is frightening.
It's unrealistic as to why someone like you could be so selfish of me.
To be only yours is a blessing that only God would give.
Love is a blessing only God could create.
I am glad to love again.....
